Terms of Service

1. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18 or older to use Pantri.

2. How Pantri works

Pantri lets you buy household essentials today and bank them in a digital pantry to redeem at partner stores within 30 days. Banked items not redeemed within their validity period may expire.

3. Pantry subscriptions

• Each pantry runs on a subscription plan. Your first pantry includes a 30-day free trial; additional pantries require a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly via Paystack. Fees are shown before you pay.
• You can change plans or cancel at any time; a plan change takes effect only after a successful payment. Cancelling stops future renewals — your pantry stays usable until the paid period ends.

4. Payments & wallet

Payments are processed by Paystack. Where a wallet is used, top-ups and balances are denominated in South African Rand. Product prices may include a platform fee. All amounts are in ZAR.

5. Redemptions

Redeeming items generates a PIN to present at the partner store. You are responsible for redeeming within the validity period and at the correct store.

6. Donations

You may donate banked pantry items to verified charities and organisations listed on Pantri. Donations are final once confirmed.

7. Acceptable use

• Don’t misuse the platform, attempt to defraud, or interfere with its operation or security.
• Don’t use Pantri for unlawful purposes or infringe others’ rights.

8. Merchants

Retail partners agree to additional terms during onboarding (vetting, payouts, product accuracy and approval). Products are only visible to buyers after approval.

9. Disclaimers & liability

Pantri is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Pantri and delete your account at any time at pantri.africa/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
